It is a first grade horsehide with a ton of character and deep richness. It will ages beautifully with deep creases and a  lovely patina. Thickness is around 1,1mm, making it a lovely medium weight that feels substantial but not heavy and is nice and pliable from the start. It is a fantastic leather. Natural leathers like the Vicenza Horsehide have their own distinctive character and slight differences in texture, grain, scratches and color tone and so any imperfections or variations in color, texture or grain are not to be considered as defects, but distinctive elements of a unique, artisanal quality leather.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe fit is great, a lot of 1 for 1 replicas have quite roomy sleeves and are looser in the body, Shangri-La have given it the Italian treatment and ever so slightly trimmed it in whilst still keeping the classic A2 silhouette and it works very well.
