The Heimat Textil Rundhals crewneck sweater is the same beast of a sweater as the U Boat roll neck but in a crewneck for those that prefer this style.

Like our U Boat and Mini Roll Neck jumpers, the Crew Neck is knitted in Germany from a full kilogram of wool, making it more than a little bit substantial, and perfect for the depths of winter. The heavy 5-gauge knit retains heat well, but also gives the jumper a rich texture that is unmistakable Heimat. The natural oils in the yarn mean it has self-cleaning and water-resistant properties.
Elsewhere, all the usual details are in place signature knitted stripes on the cuffs and hem, handsewn collar and sleeves, and a classic shape based on vintage pieces we have found on our travels.

They are quite the sweater and as for warmth and comfort we can attest that they are great in both respects, very warm and comfortable.
In terms of care they are recommended dry clean only but they are fine to wash on a gentle cool cycle and hang dry.
