The John Lofgren Combat Boots are John’s take on the military combat boot. They are a great seller within the range for a good reason, they are an easy fitting and comfortably refined tank of a boot that will stylishly see you through a mix of uses and uniforms.

The last used is based on the engineer last and is very shapely, has a nice slim waist with a rounded shaped toe, it feels snug throughout the foot (as it should be when sized correctly) with plenty toe wiggle room.

Comfort: These are extremely comfortable boots from the moment you slide your foot in. They have that immediate glove like feel. The leather feels thick but very supple and the heel is well balanced giving you a sure footed work boot like feel underfoot.

Construction & finish: The best materials and construction methods have been used in these boots, just see the DETAILS tab. The stitching is very neat and uniform and as with all John Lofgren boots the sole trim is even and nicely finished.

If you want a boot that is comfortable and solid, will last you donkeys and that you can pair with almost anything, this is your pair.

The John Lofgren Combat Boots fit very similar to UK sizes and fit the same as the Engineer boots internally. Due to the more pliable leather they do feel softer immediately than the engineers and very comfortable and we advise to go with the same size.

An 8 in the Combat Boots fits similar to:

JL Engineer: 8

JL M43: 8

JL Donkey Puncher: 7.5

JL  Chukka: 8.5 (8 is more comparable in length but these fit very close/ tighter)
