An elegant and heavy duty hobnailed styled Chelsea boot made by one of the best out there: Rolling Dub Trio.

The Stan boots are an extremely well thought out and constructed pair of boots. They are immediately comfortable out of the box and cushioned to walk in due to the full leather in-sole and heavy duty cork (not as you know it) outer sole. They are built like tanks and have a good heft but feel well balanced when on your feet.

The leather is a 2.5mm thick enough and very pliable suede from a specialist tanners in Japan. The leather will darken with wear but as with all suedes and roughout leathers, they just need a stiff brush once dry and the marks will blend giving a gradual darker colour over time. It’s some of the easiest leather to look after as they age.

The soles are heavy duty cork and are very slip resistant in wet weather, are very comfortable to walk in and very hard wearing. The elastic is top notch and holds up very well over time. For the finishing touch the outer soles are finished with Rolling Dub Trio branded steel toe taps for extra wear protection. 

They are very well made hobnail styled Chelsea’s that look and feel much better as they age.

Rolling Dub Trio Stan & Coupen Boots are are all made on the same last (shape). They are quite slim fitting (but do give) throughout the heel and mid foot with a D width ball and volume over the toes. They fit similar to a US C – D in the heel and mid foot and open out wider towards the toe. They feel very similar in length to UK sizing, maybe a touch longer. So for example if you take a UK 8 then you would want an 8 in the Stan boots. For comparison an 8 US in the Stan or Coupen feels very similar to the below in length with a slightly different fit as described:
