The Vincent boots from Rolling Dub Trio are back and are their great take on Balmoral parade boots that have been given hand finished vintage styled treatment in homage to the famous Van Gogh painting and old world footwear. They are a great looking pair of boots with real character.
The last used is low in the mid foot and wide from the ball forward (more info under the size guide). They have plenty of toe wiggle room and width at the ball of the foot with a slight upturn in the toe’s. It shapely, it’s handsome, comfortable and easy to wear.
The Leather is a fairly hefty but very pliable Cow hide that is tanned, carefully vintage processed by hand in Japan, dyed and then oiled to create a very unique slightly vintage aesthetic which will keep on developing with wear. You can of course wax or polish them to renew them once in a while.
The are constructed with very neat heavy duty stitch work, are direct Goodyear welted (similar to stitchdown construction in looks), are kip leather lined, thick leather soled with Quabaug heels for durability.
Made in Japan by a very small team of craftsmen and fully resole-able.
