The MTC-1279406 jacket from Thedi Leathers is a medium weight, pliable and very solid feeling lifetime companion of a jacket. Extremely well made out of beautiful medium – heavy weight Buffalo leather with some very well thought out details. This style is a Thedi original and is a stunning and very versatile jacket with a great fit that can comfortably be worn dressed up or down.
The veg tanned Canneto Brown Buffalo leather is medium – heavy weight (1.2 – 1.4mm thickness, feels quite thick but light when on). It is very pliable immediately and no break in is required. It has quite a heavy Buffalo skin grain, beautiful lustre and a really nice mixed of deep Brown tones. When worn for a while the sheen will start to wear off giving a beautiful and personal patina. It’s a tough leather and once this leather shapes to you it is going to feel great and bullet proof.
The other details: Hard wearing cotton lined body, viscose lined sleeves, brass vents to the pits which are surrounded by a sewn in leather shaped patch for extra wear protection, branded zip internal gun pocket (who doesn’t love that pocket), two outer buttoned patch pockets and solid brass hardware on the cinch straps.
For sizing please see the sizing info but the jacket is slightly on the trimmer side for Western sizing mostly due to the thickness of the leather and due to the jackets motorcycle influence there is slight taper towards the waist/ hem which can be adjusted by the brass buckled waist straps.
What really stands out immediately about Thedi jackets is the construction and detail. From the fantastic and detailed stitching, the button attachment/ choice of hardware and all the details you will see. Everything feels very solid like it was built for the bike and styled for everyday wear. These are lifetime jackets that will keep getting better the more you wear them.
