This version of the Cruiser Boots are White’s machine stitchdown version. They are hand lasted but the welt is not hand stitched. Personally, we really like the clean flat welt that is achieved by machine stitching the welt, it’s neat and solid!
Known to many as the Farmer Rancher/ Bounty Hunter or Smoke Jumper, the pattern is the same but this classic pair of boots is built on the very popular #55 Semi Dress last and is non lace to toe for a more classic boot style. The Double Shot leather is very hard wearing, easy to maintain and ages nicely. It is slightly more matt and dryer in finish than CXL leather but has become very popular for how it ages.
The Original Smoke Jumper Boots by White’s were designed for and are still worn by the woodland firefighters of the US North West. Built with the very best components to withstand the harshest of environments whilst offering the wearer maximum support and comfort they are the ultimate work boot and fully rebuildable to offer lifetime companionship.
Construction: Every pair of White’s boots are handmade and hand machined from start to finish. All leather, no synthetic materials or fillers are used. Stitch-down construction for strength, comfort and ability to resole. Stitched throughout with heavy gauge waxed thread. Flexible oak tanned leather mid soles, optional Vibram outer soles, strong all-leather shank custom shaped to fit your foot and the finest leather uppers that will only get better with age all make White’s a real workhorse of a boot.
