White’s Boots make tough boots period and the new MP (Military Police) boots are no exception. Part of the lifestyle line White’s created this style to offer their customers the same quality and sure footedness they have come to expect from White’s work boots but in a more sleek off duty silhouette. And we believe they got it right! The MP-M1TC boot comes with a sleek looking one piece backstay and cap toe for a laid back smart work boot style.

They still carry all the famous White’s trademarks such as heavy duty all leather construction but have been lasted (pattern cut for and shaped on) on the Barrie last (Alden Shoes), which has a low almond shaped toe profile and gives them a less bulky work boot look and more of a hybrid between a work and dress boot. They are of course still more than capable of withstanding any real work you’d like to do in them as the construction is of the same high standard, it just means you don’t have to change them before going to the pub!

Construction & leather: The MP’s are White’s premium offering and are handmade, hand Sewn, hand Lasted, hand welted & hand Bottomed by the most experienced boot makers at White’s using stitch down construction. The leather is Olive waxed flesh, very sturdy, holds up very well to the elements and looks great with wear as the wax gradually rubs off (which can of course be re-applied).

White’s are sized and listed in US sizes but please don’t go by that alone. The MP boots are made on the Barrie last in D width and fit differently from other White’s lasts. It is lower profile so feels tighter across the top of the toes and ball of the foot. The length is similar (a tad longer maybe) than other White’s lasts but overall the width and length is comparable. Advice would be that if you normally take an 8 in White’s then you can go for the same size in the MP boot but you will want to wear thin socks until broken in or go a half size up. They will give and shape quickly though.

An 8 in the MP boots are similar to:

Viberg: 7.5-8 (very similar fit, the MP’s will feel tighter across the top to begin with)

White’s other boots: 7.5-8
