Rolling Dub Trio – Casper Boots – Natural CXL

£685.00

An easy entry laceless boot that feels in hand even better than they look. Rolling Dub Trio make some serious boots and the Casper is now one of their most popular models for a very good reason, you get the beauty of their hobnail last and craftmanship in an easy on and off heavy duty boot.

The Casper’s are an extremely well thought out and constructed pair of boots. They are immediately comfortable out of the box and cushioned to walk in due to the full leather in-sole and heavy duty cork (not as you know it) outer sole. They are built like tanks and have a good heft but feel well balanced when on your feet.

The Chromexcel leather is very heavy dut and waxy giving a real hardy and luxury feel to the boots. It’s pliable, creases pleasingly and will age beautifully. For the finishing touch the’ve used a branded heavy duty brass zip and the cork outer soles are finished with Rolling Dub Trio branded steel toe taps for extra wear protection. It’s all in the details.

  • Horween thick Natural CXL leather
  • Goodyear Welted (fully rebuildable)
  • Heavy Duty thick cork sole
  • Cats Paw heels
  • Multi leather lined in area’s of stress
  • Cushioned leather in-sole
  • Branded steel toe taps
  • Made in Japan by a very small team of true artisans
  • D Width (slim in the middle)

They are good year welted to a very thick leather midsole and finished with a heavy duty and very grippy rubberised cork outer sole. The overall finish to the boots is immaculate and very well balanced. If you like how they look you’ll love how they feel!

Rolling Dub Trio Stan & Coupen and now Casper Boots are are all made on the same last (shape). They are quite slim fitting (but do give) throughout, similar to a US C/D or UK E/F but feel very similar in length to UK sizing, maybe slightly longer in the toe. So for example if you take a UK 8 then you would want an 8 in Rolling Dub Trio boots. If slim of foot then you could go with a half size down. For comparison an 8 in the Stan or Coupen feels very similar to:

-White’s Boots: 8 C/D
-Viberg: 7.5-8 (2030 last)
-Trickers: 8 E/F
-John Lofgren Engineers: 8
