Sometimes you can’t beat a plain T-Shirt. The Strike Gold T-Shirts (Tee’s) are one of very few exceptions. You can beat them, again and again and they will retain their shape, quality and softness.
We were looking for the classic James Dean T-shirt so it had to be shorter in the body, mid to shorter sleeve length (by vintage brand standards), loopwheeled, boxy but not baggy with a heavily stitched ribbed neck (to avoid the neck sag) and made to last more than a just a few washes. Through buying and trying far too many over the years we were pleased to find these. The Strike Gold tee’s are one of the best there is. That’s why we wanted to stock them
The fabric is loopwheeled (almost extinct gravity fed cotton production) giving a soft and textured handle. It is sturdy, holds up very well after repeated wash and wear, is tubular knit (except the XXL) so retains it’s shape and the collar is triple stitched. It’s a beast of a t-shirt, but doesn’t feel too heavy when on due to the well sized neck band.
