The N1 boots from Viberg are a superb pair of boots. They are based on Vibergs own WWII archived samples and come in a great last, fantastic leather with very solid construction. They really are a very handsome and practical everyday pair of boots.
They are made on the very shapely 2040 last which is very comfortable for many a foot shape, it feels very sure footed, looks smart but still workboot inspired and is neither cumbersome or sleek. It’s great all rounder. More info about the fit in the size info.
The leather is military grade natural roughout from Horween. It feels seriously tough and stiff on first try but will shape up very quickly. For those that are nervy about keeping them clean, roughout is so very easy to keep clean with a wire brushing here and there after they get grubby. YOu’ll never be able to keep them like they come if you wear them but with a brushing they will look great.
Construction & finish: The best materials and construction methods have been used in these boots to withstand what they were made for, just see the DETAILS tab. The Dr Sole raw cord soles are great.
The finish is great, Vibergs great looking and neat and close double row of stitchdown stitching, evenly trim with a nice trimmed waist.

The Viberg N1 boot is made on their shapely E Width 2040 last. It is average in the heel and waist, very shapely, average width at the ball with a taper toe, overall though the boot does not feel tapered, just average to slightly wider throughout. It is a very comfortable last with a little arch support and it feels very sure footed.
