This Logger Boots are White’s machine stitchdown version. They are hand lasted but the welt is not hand stitched. Personally, we really like the clean flat welt that is achieved by machine stitching the welt, it’s neat and solid!
The Logger boots use the same pattern and last as White’s Cruiser, Farmer Rancher and some Smoke Jumper boots. It’s tried and tested, very popular and great for a work and everyday pair of beaters. The Logger style takes them up a notch into a a beast of a boot using a stitched and screwed Vibram Snow & Ice full lug sole. If you want a lifetime pair of comfortable and extremely sturdy boots for all weathers, this is your pair.
The Brown Double Shot tea-core leather is a patina dream. It’s nice stuff. Slightly glossy and plush like CXL to begin with (it can stay this way with care if you like), thick but pliable and is complimented beautifully with the Brown sole edge dressing off White stitching. A Great, classic pair of boots that will look better the more you wear them.
Construction: Every pair of White’s boots are handmade from start to finish. All leather, no synthetic materials or fillers are used. Stitch-down construction for strength, comfort and ability to resole. Stitched throughout with heavy gauge waxed thread. Flexible oak tanned leather mid soles, optional Vibram outer soles, strong all-leather shank custom shaped to fit your foot and the finest leather uppers that will only get better with age all make White’s a real workhorse of a boot.
