The Heimat Textil Rugby’s are great easy going everyday tops, well put together and in the nicest of soft but durable cottons.
This is a mid weight cotton, more a medium t-shirt weight than your classic Rugby sweater weight. It feels great on and is a good versatile everyday wear. The armpit sewn hoes and the branded buttons on the canvas placket are very nice touches also.
Designed, cut and sewn in Germany by Heimat Textil who do a nice job of what they do.
Take a look at the measurements and sizing info for fit details. The measurments look large for their sizes but they don’t fit that way due to the cut and drape of the material. A medium feels and looks like a standard Western medium.
The mannequin is a standard 38/ small in typical western sizing and the small in the Medium in the Rugby is a looser relaxed fit.
The model that you’ll see across the website is 83 KG’s, 179 cm tall, medium build with a larger chest and is generally a Medium (most Western sizes), 38-40 EU sizing, 16 or M-L in most Japanese sizes and he would wear a Medium for an average fit (not snug) that he can still wear a t-shirt under comfortably. The material drapes very nicely so doesn’t looks oversized even though the measurements are quite large for the size.
