Unmarked was founded in 2011 in León, Guanajuato—widely known as the shoe capital of Mexico and a city with a deep-rooted tradition in leatherwork and shoemaking. The brand was created with a clear vision: to produce thoughtfully made footwear that honours traditional craftsmanship while embracing a clean, timeless design. They've done it well.
Today, Unmarked operates with a dedicated team of 25 people on the production line, working closely together. Each pair is made using carefully sourced leathers and time-honored construction methods, resulting in footwear that is both durable and designed to age beautifully.
They take a hands-on approach to design and manufacturing with a heavy committment towards creating honest, well-crafted products.
From our perspective, the boots have great lasts, silhouettes and styles, superb comfort (some of the best out of the box) and are built with solidarity in mind. For complete transparency, the boots are not perfect in terms of finish, the QC visually can be a bit hit and miss but if a good looking, comfortable and very hard wearing pair of boots is what you are after and you like the style then these are bang for buck great.
