Description

Unmarked boots have both US and UK sizing on the box but we are using the US sizing to keep in line with the other brands we stock, please see the sizing guide for more in depth detail.

The Lechuguera boots are a classic roper boot, think cowboy boots with a more rounded almond shaped toe and with a well balanced and nicely shaped heel which adds a bit of slickness to their look and feel.

The leather is a very soft but strong classic sand coloured roughout suede and feels glove-like on your feet immediately. It is vegetable tanned to aid longevity.

The last and comfort: As with the leather this is where UNMARKED boots shine, the lasts are a lovely shape, very well balanced with neither too little or too much volume for a wide range of feet. They are also very comfortable underfoot due to their cork and leather midsole and a cushioned half insole. They just feel very good on from the start.

The construction and finish is where it is a bit mixed. On the positive they are solid boots, very. Goodyear and nicely welted, pretty good uniform stitching on the whole and trimmed in nicely and mostly well balanced. However, the finish is not flawless so those expecting perfection, these are not the boots for you. There is the odd blemish or scar on the leather (this is to be expected with bullhide a bit though), some of the outer sole leather and rubber can be a bit grubby looking (which they would when you walk for 5 minutes anyway) and the finish just doesn't have some of the finesse that the higher priced makers do but the price does reflect this. On the whole though, if you are after a very solid, lifetime and comfortable pair of boots that look and feel great then UNMARKED are great for this.

Sizing information

The Unmarked Lechuguera boots have great classic Roper shaped last and are average in the heel, have a shapely average volume waist and good width at the ball with a nice almond shaped toe which again has average volume. They also have average to generous volume ankle to arch so are very good for higher arched feet.

In terms of US sizing (which is what we tend to use) they fit smaller than many of the other brands we stock. A 9 US is similar in length to the below:

Shipping & Returns

A couple of notes:

We are now covering import costs into the USA, please see details below under the Rest Of World section.

We ship Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (and between if possible) using next day for the UK and expedited for the rest of the World including the EU. Tracking information will be sent to you by email at the time of shipping.

To keep things nice and simple and just incase you need to return an item the shipping cost has not been calculated into the price of your item/s. We feel that this way it is transparent and can price the item accordingly and not inflate the item cost to cover free shipping.

The shipping rate is calculated on the heaviest item in your cart/ basket only so no need to worry that you’ll be charged twice.

UK Shipping:

Flat rate of £8.00 for all orders.
Next day with UPS or DHL if ordered before 10am.

EEC European Countries:

(Excluding: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia & Switzerland – Please see details further below):

All import costs for with a product value above £300 (for the items only, not including shipping costs) are covered by East West Apparel and so the price you see on the product page is the price you will pay (which will get converted to your currency) + the below shipping costs. There will be no import taxes or duties for you to pay unless your order value for items only is under £300.

The costs involved with shipping to your country now are very high due to brokerage and handling fee’s applied when we select to cover import fee’s (you should not get these as the importer) into your country so it is your responsibility to cover these costs. UK VAT is removed from the product prices and we will be very helpful with customs paperwork to help keep import costs to a minimum. Our sincerest apologies.

Rest Of The World:

Rest of World excluding USA: £50 (VAT/ Tax is removed from the product price and customer covers import costs)
USA: £50 (import costs covered by East West Apparel)

Rest of World: Import taxes and duties outside of the EU and to select EU Countries (see above) are your (the buyers) responsibility, they are not included within the shipping costs. VAT is removed from the product cost to reflect this. We will be helpful with customs paperwork to keep these costs to a minimum.

USA: We are now covering import costs into the US so the price you see at checkout is the pirce you will pay and East West Apparel will cover any imports through the shipping company.

Returns:

SALE ITEMS: Are non returnable/ refundable so please do check measurements thoroughly using the measurements provided. If you are unsure on sizing, please do get in touch so we can help with any information you might need.

We hope you are happy with your item/s but if for any reason you do need to return or exchange an item then we offer a full no hassle refund or exchange providing yiou adhere to the below.

Please Note: Any items such as custom/ special ordered boots or items that have been altered in any way at your request or whilst in your possession are non-returnable/ refundable unless faulty when received. So, please contact us to discuss any sizing details or queries and refer to any relevant sizing charts before placing an order.

UK Returns:

Please contact us letting us know you wish to return an item.

Items must be unworn, all tags and associated packaging attached and in the condition you received them. PLEASE TRY SHOES & BOOTS ON ON A CARPETED SURFACE to keep the sole in new condition. We do understand the need to try on boots for a short time to assess the fit but creased leather or signs of longer wear will not be deemed as being in brand new condition and as you received them.

Return shipping is your responsibility (unless the item is faulty) and we would suggest sending the item by an insured (for the full value) and recorded method, as they are your responsibility until we receive them back. We can also arrange to email you a UPS returns label and deduct £12 from your refund or invoice you the same amount if it is an exchange.
Returns must be received within 14 (UK) and 14 (EU/ International) days of the date of delivery. Any returns received after this time will result in either an exchange or shop credit being offered only.

Once the goods are received back and inspected satisfactorily we will issue a full refund minus initial shipping costs within 24 hours to the original source of payment. Please leave up to 7 days for the refund to show on your payment source.

NON UK Returns:

Please use a shipping service of your choice. We recommend insuring the item. We potentially can arrange return shipping depending on your country so please get in touch to find out the cost.

If returning items from outside of the UK it is important that you mark the items as a RETURNED ORDER/ GOODS.

Please also declare the value at no more than £50 (or the equivalent in your country’s currency). If you do not do this, we will end up paying taxes and duties on the item for a second time around which will have to be deducted from your refund. Please do insure the parcel for the full value as the item is your responsibility until we receive it back.

All other conditions are as for the UK.

Upon receipt of returned items, we will issue a full refund for the amount paid for the items only or give an exchange or credit as required.

Exchanges:

Please follow the same steps as for refunds with the exception of:

Please inform us by email that you wish to exchange for a different size/ item and if in stock we will reserve your exchange item for you or alternatively order your size/ item in especially for you (subject to availability).

The exchange item will be sent out to you with free Shipping within the UK and at a discounted rate for EU and International customers. Please note that only the first exchange item will be sent out with free/ discounted shipping. Any subsequent exchanges will incur normal shipping charges, which will be payable prior to the item being shipped. We will contact you with shipping costs.

EU EXCHANGES: Unfortunately we cannot cover the import fees (VAT/ Any duty) for the exchanged import to the EU. We cannot recoup the costs of the initial import and so therefore it would mean too much of a loss for a small business like ours. We will make it very clear on the exchange paperwork that it is an exchange and be as helpful on the paperwork as it allows so that the fee’s are kept to a minimum.
