Addict Japan make quality goods, full stop. You can just tell a lot of thought has gone into all aspects the customer would want or be concerned about. The boots are fantastic. The lasts, construction, materials and style are all top notch, made to last and have a very luxurious feel to them. They are super comfortable boots from the get go.

The Jodhpur boots are made on their CL-FT last which is their classic last as seen on many of their boots but with a slimmer toe giving the boot a slightly less bulbous look in toe width from the start. It really works. It is a great fitting boot, very narrow looking at the opening but surprisingly fairly easy to get on (for average width/ volume feet) when you open up the leather flaps. Their is a slight underfoot spongy feeling when they are on, the heel gets cupped very well and due to the slight upturn in the toe they are very comfortable to walk in immediately as they roll with your foot as you walk. The toe will likely flatten (depends on how you walk/ stand) with time giving an even more sleeker look to them.

The leather is a very plush Black Horsehide. It is a very nice leather. It is thick but very pliable/ soft to touch. It is fairly oily in feel so not a dry/ crisp leather and has very subtle grain variation. This leather will age beautifully and develop some very nice Horsehide rolls over time and as it is a tea-core leather you will start to see that poke through in areas of wear with time. You can of course polish them up with a Black polish to keep them all Black.

The construction is superb! The stitching is very neat, the best components have been used throughout (see the details tab) and the finish is very high, some of the best. They have been trimmed in very well and all is very neat. They are cow leather lined and have a cushioned heel to the leather insole for extra comfort. They also come with an extra leather insole for fit adjustment if you should need when they have broken in. The heavy duty brass buckles are custom for Addict. Class!

Sizing information

The Addict Jodhpur boots look very sleek but are surprisingly generous and work well for feet EE width and below. They are narrow in the heel and feel very supportive/ locked in back there, curvy in the waist, open up a bit at the ball to an average width and quite rounded toe. They look fairly slim both in profile and from the top down but there is volume in the mid foot and toe to make them work for slightly wider feet as well. They are slightly shorter in length compared to a number of US sized brands we stock so take a look below for comparisons.

Shipping & Returns

A couple of notes:

We are now covering import costs into the USA, please see details below under the Rest Of World section.

We ship Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (and between if possible) using next day for the UK and expedited for the rest of the World including the EU. Tracking information will be sent to you by email at the time of shipping.

To keep things nice and simple and just incase you need to return an item the shipping cost has not been calculated into the price of your item/s. We feel that this way it is transparent and can price the item accordingly and not inflate the item cost to cover free shipping.

The shipping rate is calculated on the heaviest item in your cart/ basket only so no need to worry that you’ll be charged twice.

UK Shipping:

Flat rate of £8.00 for all orders.
Next day with UPS or DHL if ordered before 10am.

EEC European Countries:

All import costs for with a product value above £300 (for the items only, not including shipping costs) are covered by East West Apparel and so the price you see on the product page is the price you will pay (which will get converted to your currency) + the below shipping costs. Returns:

SALE ITEMS: Are non returnable/ refundable so please do check measurements thoroughly using the measurements provided. If you are unsure on sizing, please do get in touch so we can help with any information you might need.

We hope you are happy with your item/s but if for any reason you do need to return or exchange an item then we offer a full no hassle refund or exchange providing you adhere to the below.

Please follow the appropriate procedure below.

Please Note: Any items such as custom/ special ordered boots or items that have been altered in any way at your request or whilst in your possession are non-returnable/ refundable unless faulty when received. So, please contact us to discuss any sizing details or queries and refer to any relevant sizing charts before placing an order.

UK Returns:

Please contact us letting us know you wish to return an item.

Items must be unworn, all tags and associated packaging attached and in the condition you received them. PLEASE TRY SHOES & BOOTS ON ON A CARPETED SURFACE to keep the sole in new condition. We do understand the need to try on boots for a short time to assess the fit but creased leather or signs of longer wear will not be deemed as being in brand new condition and as you received them.

Return shipping is your responsibility (unless the item is faulty) and we would suggest sending the item by an insured (for the full value) and recorded method, as they are your responsibility until we receive them back. We can also arrange to email you a UPS returns label and deduct £12 from your refund or invoice you the same amount if it is an exchange.
Returns must be received within 14 (UK) and 14 (EU/ International) days of the date of delivery. Any returns received after this time will result in either an exchange or shop credit being offered only.

Once the goods are received back and inspected satisfactorily we will issue a full refund minus initial shipping costs within 24 hours to the original source of payment. Please leave up to 7 days for the refund to show on your payment source.

NON UK Returns:

Please use a shipping service of your choice. We recommend insuring the item. We potentially can arrange return shipping depending on your country so please get in touch to find out the cost.

If returning items from outside of the UK it is important that you mark the items as a RETURNED ORDER/ GOODS.

Please also declare the value at no more than £50 (or the equivalent in your country’s currency). If you do not do this, we will end up paying taxes and duties on the item for a second time around which will have to be deducted from your refund. Please do insure the parcel for the full value as the item is your responsibility until we receive it back.

All other conditions are as for the UK.

Upon receipt of returned items, we will issue a full refund for the amount paid for the items only or give an exchange or credit as required.

Exchanges:

Please follow the same steps as for refunds with the exception of:

Please inform us by email that you wish to exchange for a different size/ item and if in stock we will reserve your exchange item for you or alternatively order your size/ item in especially for you (subject to availability).

The exchange item will be sent out to you with free Shipping within the UK and at a discounted rate for EU and International customers. Please note that only the first exchange item will be sent out with free/ discounted shipping. Any subsequent exchanges will incur normal shipping charges, which will be payable prior to the item being shipped. We will contact you with shipping costs.

EU EXCHANGES: Unfortunately we cannot cover the import fees (VAT/ Any duty) for the exchanged import to the EU. We cannot recoup the costs of the initial import and so therefore it would mean too much of a loss for a small business like ours. We will make it very clear on the exchange paperwork that it is an exchange and be as helpful on the paperwork as it allows so that the fee’s are kept to a minimum.
