Description

The Rolling Dub Trio Loro boots are a thing of real beauty. A Cowboy-esque boot on steroids is a fair description.

Made on their self modified munson style last they are standard width in the heel, shapely in the instep (without feeling too tight there), have a D width ball/ mid to front of foot and then taper at the toe’s to a square pegged shape. The are not overly square looking though as the wide aggressive double row of hand sewn construction rounds them off nicely. They also have quite a low arch/ instep.

Our boots comparison man has high insteps/ arches and is thicker in the heel to foot/ shin crease and can quite often struggle with getting engineers and low profile boots on in general and he has found them quite difficult to get them on in his size (8.5 US), similar to a number of engineer boots. Once on, the pressure in that area was fine and will only get better quickly due to the pliable leather (see sizing info). Take a look at the last picture and size info to get an idea of the fit. They are average in the foot but it is a narrow shaft and opening so will be a great fit for high arches are heavier/ thicker feet towards the back of the foot.

The leather is thick Black Horsebutt leather from Italy. It is a beautiful, mostly subtle grained leather that is very pliable, has a lovely lustre and feels very hard wearing. It is a beautiful leather and will age fantastically. The rolls that will develop over time will add real old School authentic character.

As always with Rolling Dub Trio the materials and construction are all top notch and will last and last. The stitchwork is fantastic, the patterns are well matched, the trim is equal and just feel like an extremely well executed and beautiful boot. Bravo!

If like us you like Western Styled boots then you have found one of the best. They are mantelpiece worthy.

Sizing information

Rolling Dub Trio Loro boots are made on their munson last which has been modified to give a slight upturned square peg toe and a low mid foot profile. The width feels like a slim to standard D width from the ball of the foot backwards. The length (for the right fit) will be slightly longer than other RDT or other makers equivalent sizes due to the tapered square toe style of the Loro's. They are quite slim in the shaft and have a low instep so getting them on could be challenging to many. Just a heads up.

An 8.5 US in the Loro feels very similar to but slightly tighter at first try to the below but will look a touch longer due to the pattern/ style:

Shipping & Returns

A couple of notes:

We ship Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (and between if possible) using next day for the UK and expedited for the rest of the World including the EU. Tracking information will be sent to you by email at the time of shipping.

To keep things nice and simple and just incase you need to return an item the shipping cost has not been calculated into the price of your item/s. We feel that this way it is transparent and can price the item accordingly and not inflate the item cost to cover free shipping.

The shipping rate is calculated on the heaviest item in your cart/ basket only so no need to worry that you’ll be charged twice.

UK Shipping:

Flat rate of £8.00 for all orders.
Next day with UPS if ordered before 10am.

EEC European Countries:

All import costs for with a product value above £300 (for the items only, not including shipping costs) are covered by East West Apparel and so the price you see on the product page is the price you will pay (which will get converted to your currency) + the below shipping costs. We hope you are happy with your item/s but if for any reason you do need to return or exchange an item then we offer a full no hassle refund or exchange providing yiou adhere to the below.

Please Note: Any items such as custom/ special ordered boots or items that have been altered in any way at your request or whilst in your possession are non-returnable/ refundable unless faulty when received. So, please contact us to discuss any sizing details or queries and refer to any relevant sizing charts before placing an order.

UK Returns:

Please contact us letting us know you wish to return an item.

Items must be unworn, all tags and associated packaging attached and in the condition you received them. PLEASE TRY SHOES & BOOTS ON ON A CARPETED SURFACE to keep the sole in new condition. We do understand the need to try on boots for a short time to assess the fit but creased leather or signs of longer wear will not be deemed as being in brand new condition and as you received them.

Return shipping is your responsibility (unless the item is faulty) and we would suggest sending the item by an insured (for the full value) and recorded method, as they are your responsibility until we receive them back. We can also arrange to email you a UPS returns label and deduct £12 from your refund or invoice you the same amount if it is an exchange.
Returns must be received within 14 (UK) and 14 (EU/ International) days of the date of delivery. Any returns received after this time will result in either an exchange or shop credit being offered only.

Once the goods are received back and inspected satisfactorily we will issue a full refund minus initial shipping costs within 24 hours to the original source of payment. Please leave up to 7 days for the refund to show on your payment source.

NON UK Returns:

Please use a shipping service of your choice. We recommend insuring the item. We potentially can arrange return shipping depending on your country so please get in touch to find out the cost.

If returning items from outside of the UK it is important that you mark the items as a RETURNED ORDER/ GOODS.

Please also declare the value at no more than £50 (or the equivalent in your country’s currency). If you do not do this, we will end up paying taxes and duties on the item for a second time around which will have to be deducted from your refund. Please do insure the parcel for the full value as the item is your responsibility until we receive it back.

All other conditions are as for the UK.

Upon receipt of returned items, we will issue a full refund for the amount paid for the items only or give an exchange or credit as required.

Exchanges:

Please follow the same steps as for refunds with the exception of:

Please inform us by email that you wish to exchange for a different size/ item and if in stock we will reserve your exchange item for you or alternatively order your size/ item in especially for you (subject to availability).

The exchange item will be sent out to you with free Shipping within the UK and at a discounted rate for EU and International customers. Please note that only the first exchange item will be sent out with free/ discounted shipping. Any subsequent exchanges will incur normal shipping charges, which will be payable prior to the item being shipped. We will contact you with shipping costs.

EU EXCHANGES: Unfortunately we cannot cover the import fees (VAT/ Any duty) for the exchanged import to the EU. We cannot recoup the costs of the initial import and so therefore it would mean too much of a loss for a small business like ours. We will make it very clear on the exchange paperwork that it is an exchange and be as helpful on the paperwork as it allows so that the fee’s are kept to a minimum.
