The Strike Gold are one of the smaller Japanese denim brands from the denim capital of Okayama. The Hamamoto family are the owners and have a lot of history in the industry and it show’s. The 2105 model was my first pair from the brand and I was immediately impressed by the attention to detail, the unusual slub and texture to the denim, the construction was very neat and the fit was great, they are going strong and they’ve aged beautifully. They don’t make a lot of new items, cuts or denims every season but what they do they do very well. Their loopwheeled T-Shirts are also some of the best out there.
