Rolling Dub Trio Coupen Boots – Horse Front Brown

£600.00

The best selling style by Rolling Dub Trio. The Coupen is an unusual take on a hobnail styled shoe/ boot, very versatile for your wardrobe and just as versatile in use whether they are for work, urban or off road use. They’ll only get better with age.

They are immediately comfortable out of the box and cushioned to walk in due to the full leather in-sole and heavy duty cork (not as you know it) outer sole. They are built like tanks and have a good heft but feel well balanced when on your feet.

The Italian Brown Horse front leather is medium weight, softer than Horsebutt but still very tough with very subtle grain and a very nice rich lustre. It feels more like a dress leather than work boot leather so is very comfortable from the outset and will shape to your feet very quickly.

For the finishing touch the outer soles are finished with Rolling Dub Trio branded steel toe taps for extra wear protection.

  • Italian Tannery Horse front leather
  • Goodyear Welted (fully rebuildable)
  • Heavy Duty thick cork sole
  • Cats Paw heels
  • Multi leather lined in area’s of stress
  • Cushioned leather in-sole
  • Cushioned collar for comfort
  • Branded steel toe taps
  • Made in Japan by a very small team of true artisans
  • D Width

Rolling Dub Trio Stan & Coupen Boots are are all made on the same last (shape). They are quite slim fitting (but do give) throughout, similar to a US C-D or UK E/F but feel very similar in length to UK sizing if a bit more generous in length. So for example if you take a UK 8 then you would want an 8 US in the Coupen, Casper and Stan boots dependent on how wide your feet are. For comparison an 8 US (as listed, no size conversions) feels very similar in length to:

  • White’s Semi Dress/ Cruiser Boots: 8D
  • White’s Smoke Jumpers 4811 last: 7.5D
  • Viberg: 8 (2030 last)
  • Trickers: 8 E/F
  • John Lofgren Engineers: 8 – 8.5
  • John Lofgren Combats & M43’s: 8 – 8.5
